IMC Weekendschool ~ Fundraising & Student Ambassador

• IMC Weekendschool helps students from disadvantaged neighborhoods, first gens, and migrant backgrounds to get exposure to a broad set of industry professionals. Young students from 10 to 14 come in every Sunday and learn from doctors, lawyers, engineers, journalists, artists etc. about their jobs. They join them in hospitals, courts, newspaper editors, etc. to expand their perspective on what is possible to do as a job, develop skillsets and collaborate together on research, make a documentary, do a mock surgery, etc. to spark curiosity among young pupils.

  IMC in many ways has changed my life. I come from a neighborhood where people don’t go to university and consider becoming a lawyer an unattainable goal for a couple of geniuses. I strongly believe that talent and potential are everywhere but opportunity is not. I consider it my professional responsibility to help contribute to bridging the private and public sectors to unlock a new scale of well-being infrastructure.
