Doing something without a blueprint and the traditional safety a predefined internship program gives is challenging but has been one of the most rewarding experiences I had. My team taught true problem-solving by playing into each other’s strengths and how to be empathetic. One tough lesson we learned that turned out to be invaluable is if you want to build a 10x product, you need to be deeply invested and believe in the mission. Even though we didn’t solve a radical need, this project has still been a great learning experience for when I will build my own solutions to increase financial inclusion.
