A case study on Constitutional Amendments: South Korea

Academic Writing Governance Constitutional Law

I was surprised to discover that the knowledge I gained in my constitutional design class is relevant to my exploration of Decentralized Finance, Governance and even for my Machine Learning class. By learning how intricate systems are designed, as well as understanding their incentive structures and historical factors, I developed a rigorous way of thinking. During a location based assignment in South Korea, I realized that institutions have unique design principles, and I believe that bridging different disciplines and discoveries can lead to valuable insights. For example, the insights we gain from studying constitutional design can inform us about building communities, developing persistent services, products, and structures. Although the language used in the assignment was academically complex, the ideas and concepts I gained are still applicable. I will eventually edit the language to be less convoluted, and more blog-friendly.
